NEED TO KNOW

Welcome to THiNK!

How to use THiNK!

This first step is simply about starting with honesty. No polish, no pretending. Just your real words about what matters to you and how this idea sits in your life.

How to navigate THiNK!

  • Core Content - the quick path. Read it, do the exercise, write in your Misfit Journal.
  • Explore More - optional. Open it if you want examples, cultural hooks, or prompts to go deeper.
  • AI Buddy - your thinking partner. Use the prompts any time you feel stuck.
  • Your aim - reach a clear decision: Pursue, Pivot, or Pause. Then carry that clarity into Project 100.
  • Rule - good enough to work beats perfect and unshipped.

You’re here because there’s an idea you can’t quite shake - but you’re not sure if it’s worth building, or how to fit it into the life you actually have.

THiNK! isn’t a course. There are no modules, no corporate jargon, no “hustle harder” mantras. It’s a decision tool designed to help you move from uncertainty to clarity. By the end, you’ll know whether to:

  • pursue the idea
  • reshape it so it fits your life and ambition
  • or leave it behind without guilt or second-guessing.

I created The Misfit Engine after nearly 40 years of building brands, launching startups, and coaching founders who didn’t fit the “standard entrepreneur” template. People like me - and maybe like you - who juggle family, fluctuating energy, neurodivergence, care responsibilities, or just a low tolerance for systems that demand 5am alarms and ice baths.

In the Core Content here, I’ll guide you through exactly what to do. In Explore More below, you’ll find my own story, how The Misfit Engine came about, and why I’m so committed to building businesses that work for the person running them.

Along the way, you’ll be using your Misfit Journal - your private workspace where every answer you type is auto-saved, so by the end you’ll have a complete record you can download and keep. You’ll also have the AI Buddy on hand - not a chatbot spitting advice, but a thinking partner you can use to reality-check your reasoning, challenge your assumptions, and clear mental fog whenever you hit it.

This first step is simply about starting with honesty. No polish, no pretending. Just your real words about what matters to you and how this idea sits in your life.
