Thinking Partner: one-to-one support for constrained founders

Most people do not need more options. They need one honest decision that makes their week easier instead of harder.

Thinking Partner is my one-to-one offer for founders who need clear thinking, honest judgement, and practical direction in the middle of real life.

Most people I work with are not short of ideas. They are drowning in them. They are doing bits of marketing with no real order, no clear sense of what matters most, and no shortage of people online telling them to try something else. Add in all the acronyms, renamed frameworks, and recycled advice, and it becomes noise, not help.

My job is to cut through that. I strip things back to what matters, help you make the key decisions in the right order, and build around the time, energy, and capacity you actually have. It is the same thinking behind The Misfit Engine™, just applied to your situation now.

I am not a coach, and I am not here to motivate you into pretending your life is simpler than it is. I am not a consultant doing the work for you, and I am not a mentor dispensing vague wisdom from the sidelines. My role is to help you think clearly, make better decisions, and build something that works in real life.

I do not do done-for-you. I do not do fantasy timelines. And I do not do vague encouragement. I do clear thinking, honest judgement, and practical design.

I have been doing this for nearly forty years across corporates, agencies, start-ups, and consultancies. I have seen what happens when people pile tactics on top of tactics without anything holding it together. Under pressure, that kind of effort collapses. The people who make progress are usually not the ones doing the most. They are the ones doing the right things in the right order.

Thinking Partner is for people who are broadly capable, but keep veering off course. You may be second-guessing yourself, getting pulled towards new ideas before the last one has had a proper chance, or trying to force a business model that does not fit the life you actually have.

It is also for the quieter fear underneath that - the fear that growth will turn into overwork, that success will come with a life you do not want, and that the business will start taking more than it gives back.

This is one-to-one support for constrained founders who want better decisions, clearer direction, and steadier progress without handing the wheel to someone else.

If that is what you need, get in touch.
